In ancient Greece, the agora was the place where the Greek citizens discussed the “polis” ( the city) and later on religious problems.

The Agora Club which the spirit of Round Table is a ladies club, for women of more 45 years, of which the motto is “ give and tolerate”

The Club’s emblem is the leaf of the Gingko Biloba tree.

This tree goes back to the Mesozoic period ; the male tree ( there is also a female tree) from 13 to 46 meters in high, is used in the west as ornamental tree.

It has a life of thousand years. It grows principally in China where it is used for it’s medicinal properties. It symbolizes is the force

. The first Agora Club came from France. It is composed of Old Ladies Circle Club, wives of members old Club 41 and their friends.

The first Estonian Agora Club established it’s charter on the 19th July 2003 under the international presidency of Corry ZIMMER to whom the members of the Tallinn Club pay a tribute and thank for all her kindness.
